On November 29, the STEM Robotics English Festival for Hanoi primary school students in the 2025 - 2026 school year took place. The event was organized in coordination between the Hanoi Department of Education and Training and Binh Minh Technology Joint Stock Company.
The festival attracted 552 outstanding students, who are excellent faces from 184 primary schools, representing nearly 750,000 primary school students in the capital.

Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Tran The Cuong said that the first held STEM Robotics English Festival is one of the activities to concretize the implementation of the Project to make English the second language in schools (2025 - 2035), with a vision to 2045 according to the Prime Minister's Decision and implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; along with Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development.
"The festival is not only an intellectual playground, but also an learning environment and experience to help children practice and use English in practice, access science and technology STEM, Robotics, practice logical thinking, problem-solving skills, nurture creativity, and develop core abilities of digital citizens in the new era" - the Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council emphasized.

The representative of the Organizing Committee said that at the festival, students will have the opportunity to practice English in real-life settings, and access programming skills, robotics and problem solving.
"Core abilities such as teamwork and logical thinking practiced at the event will be an important tool to help students develop in the digital environment. This is also part of the orientation to build Hanoi into a "Learning City" according to UNESCO's global standards, where STEM education, artificial intelligence, digital transformation and the development of global citizen qualities are focused on" - the representative of the Organizing Committee shared more.
Here, teacher Can Thi Thom - a teacher at Khanh Thuong Primary School (Ba Vi Commune, Hanoi) expressed that through the festival, teachers may learn a lot of experience to apply technology to their lectures.
"We can apply a lot of experience to designing STEM lectures and applying information technology. As for students, they have the opportunity to interact, experience reality and learn more knowledge and applied skills that they have never had before" - Ms. Thom shared.
