Accordingly, the score distribution results of the 10th grade high school entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year in Khanh Hoa show a clear differentiation between general subjects and specialized subjects.
According to statistics, the whole province has more than 24,600 candidates taking mass subjects. In Mathematics, there are 18,670 exam papers achieving 5 points or higher, accounting for 75.67% of the total number of exam papers. This is the subject with the highest results among the three common exam subjects.
Notably, there are up to 8,906 Math exam papers achieving 8 points or higher, equivalent to 36.1%. This subject also recorded 35 exam papers achieving a score of 10.

Literature subject had relatively positive results when 16,411/24,673 exam papers achieved 5 points or higher, accounting for 66.49%. Most candidates achieved scores from 5 to below 8, with 13,943 exam papers, equivalent to 56.49%.
However, Literature did not record any exam papers scoring 10. The number of exam papers below average is 8,271, accounting for 33.51%.
Meanwhile, English continues to be an exam subject that causes many difficulties for candidates. The whole province has 14,829 exam papers below average scores, accounting for 56.07% of the total number of exam papers. The rate of achieving above average scores is 10,834 exam papers, only reaching 43.93%, the lowest among general subjects.
However, English is the subject with the highest number of perfect scores with 285 exam papers achieving absolute scores, equivalent to 1.16% of the total number of exam papers. This shows that the score distribution of English has a strong differentiation between the group of candidates with high achievements and the group of candidates with low results.
For specialized subjects, Informatics is the subject with the most outstanding results. Out of a total of 91 candidates taking the exam, 68 students achieved 5 points or higher, accounting for nearly 75%. This is also the only subject with a perfect score of 10 with 9 exam papers achieving absolute scores.

Specialized Literature and Specialized Biology subjects also recorded a fairly high rate of exceeding the average, reaching about 71.3% and 70.5% respectively. There are 12 specialized Literature exam papers achieving 8 points or higher and 26 specialized Biology exam papers achieving 8 points or higher.
Conversely, specialized English and specialized Math have a significantly lower percentage of candidates scoring 5 points or higher. Specifically, only about 35.1% of candidates taking the specialized English exam and 37.9% of candidates taking the specialized Math exam achieved above average.
There are 239 specialized Math exams below average, 11 exams with scores from 8 points or higher. For the English exam, there are 352 exams below 5 points, 17 exams from 8 points or higher.
In Physics alone, there are 76 papers below 5 points, 21 papers from 8 points or higher. Chemistry has 123 papers scoring below average, 10 papers scoring from 8 points or higher.
According to general assessment, the exam scores for the 10th grade entrance exam in the 2026-2027 school year this year are higher than in the 2025-2026 school year.
For some schools such as Ly Tu Trong, Nguyen Van Troi, Pham Van Dong, Hoang Van Thu, Ha Huy Tap high schools, the benchmark scores will be much higher than last year.
Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training will receive applications for re-marking from candidates from June 14 - June 19. The re-marking council will then review and re-mark the exam papers according to regulations.
It is expected that the admission benchmark for 10th grade high school in the 2026-2027 school year in the province will be announced before June 30.
