In order to gradually standardize the use of Vietnamese in schools, the Department of Education and Training of Hung Yen province has just issued document No. 1006/SGDDT-GDPT on organizing and launching a movement to overcome the situation of confusing the two prefixes L and N for teachers and staff; the situation of speaking and spelling incorrectly between these two prefixes for students in educational institutions.
Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training recommends that preschools, general schools and vocational education - education centers regularly include the content of overcoming errors L and N as a key task for the 2025 - 2026 school year and the following years.
At the same time, units need to strengthen propaganda work, encourage staff, teachers and students to self-train, contributing to building a standard communication environment in Vietnamese in school and in society.
The launch of the movement should be organized through collective activities, flag-raising at the beginning of the week, deployed from September and completed before October 15. After launching, the school proactively organizes appropriate training activities, without affecting the regular school hours.
This is a meaningful activity, contributing to improving the quality of language education, forming a habit of accurate and clear use of Vietnamese for cadres, teachers and students in the whole province.
