Previously, the Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province proposed to temporarily not collect tuition fees from September to the end of November for the 2024-2025 school year.
Regarding this matter, the Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Education and Training to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and units to study and, based on the extent of damage and scope of impact of storm No. 3, advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and decision not to collect tuition fees for a certain period of time for preschool children and public primary school students, students studying at regular educational institutions following the general education program in the storm-affected areas.
To reduce the difficulties for students and parents due to the damage caused by storm No. 3, in the immediate future, the Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province informs educational institutions to temporarily not collect tuition fees from September to the end of November of the 2024-2025 school year for the above subjects.
