How to calculate admission scores for 10th grade in Hanoi
The admission score (ĐXT) is the only basis for admission to grade 10 of non-specialized public high schools. This score is calculated based on the results of three exams along with priority points and bonus points (if any).
The calculation formula is as follows: ĐXT = Math score + Literature score + Foreign language score + Priority score (if any) + Consolation score (if any).
In principle, candidates who are admitted to nguyện vọng 1 (NV1) will not be considered for subsequent nguyện vọng. If they are not admitted to NV1, candidates are considered for NV2 but must have an admission score at least 0.5 points higher than the NV1 benchmark score of the school.
This year, the city has nearly 125,000 candidates registered to take the 10th grade public school entrance exam.
