Carefully review personal information
According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), from now until 5:00 p.m. on July 28, candidates can register and adjust their university wishes without limiting the number of times.
The Ministry of Education and Training plans to announce the classification of 5 traditional groups, including A00, A01, B00, C00, D01 on July 21 or 22, that is, Monday or Tuesday next week.
At the same time, the threshold for ensuring input quality for the pedagogical and health science majors will also be announced.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tien Thao - Director of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training noted that students and parents need to carefully re-check their information and exam scores, especially their academic records and foreign language certificate scores in the process of registering for admission wishes.

"If candidates complete all procedures but do not press the submit button, the candidate's information is still hanging and the Ministry's system will not record it" - Mr. Thao said.
For candidates considering admission to specific majors such as the Army and Police, it is necessary to pay more attention to the preliminary results.
Candidates should not "hold" their wishes until the last minute

MSc. Nguyen Quang Trung, Deputy Head of the Communications - Admissions Department, University of Commerce, noted that students must register their wishes for admission to schools on the general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training, even if they are registered in the separate system of schools.
"At the same time, students should not wait until the last days to register their wishes because it is easy to lead to network congestion and the system is not saved, and registration information or changes of candidates are not recorded.
The Ministry of Education and Training allows candidates to adjust their wishes unlimitedly. Therefore, from now on, if you can finalize any major, register immediately on the system and can change it later" - Mr. Trung said.
The strategy of setting wishes for admission proposed by Mr. Trung includes 3 groups. First of all, candidates need to put their favorite majors in their initial aspirations, even though their passing ability is still uncertain. Next, candidates should prioritize majors that they are likely to pass and can study. And finally, "defending" the industries that I am sure to pass.
Finally, to increase the chance of admission, MSc. Nguyen Quang Trung recommends that candidates carefully check information, supplement missing scores, especially transcript scores and foreign language certificates on the general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training for schools to download data and conduct admission.
Note that candidates should avoid choosing majors based on benchmark scores, following hot majors with high benchmark scores. Students should choose a career that suits their passion, interests, abilities and orientations.
"In reality, many students with very high benchmark scores pass the entrance exam but only when studying do they find that major not suitable for them, so they do not try their best and their learning results are affected.
Then later, when they graduated, they did not work out of passion, could not fully develop their strengths and develop" - he said.
To choose the right major and profession according to their strengths and personality, Mr. Trung advised candidates to spend time carefully researching the majors, if necessary, ask the school and those who have gone before and do not hesitate to refer to many different information channels.
