Olympia climber Nhat Minh dreams of becoming a teacher

Gia Lai – Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh, a mountain climber who won third prize in the Road to Olympia competition, dreams of becoming a teacher.

On October 13, thousands of students, teachers and people of the mountainous town of Pleiku (Gia Lai province) enthusiastically cheered for Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh, one of the four excellent contestants who made it to the final round of the 24th Road to Olympia. In the final round, Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh won third prize.

Unable to hide her emotions, teacher Le Thi Thu - Principal of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted shared: "Teachers, students and audiences in Pleiku would like to thank Nhat Minh for giving everyone a wonderful experience with the program Road to Olympia".

"Nhat Minh's example of effort will continue to spread the passion for learning and conquering the pinnacle of human knowledge to students in difficult areas like Gia Lai in particular and the Central Highlands in general" - teacher Le Thi Thu shared more.

According to teachers and classmates of Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh (Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted), he hopes to become a teacher in the future to impart knowledge to students.

For Nhat Minh, the teacher with the blackboard and white chalk, and his love for his students, has long left a deep impression in the heart of the small student from the mountain town.

Mr. Le Duy Dinh - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Gia Lai province said that this is an important event for the local education sector. The image of Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh motivates teachers and students to strive to teach well and study well.

According to Mr. Dinh, Nhat Minh's entry into the Olympia finals is a great victory for Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted. This can be seen as a shining example for students in the area to learn from and strive for glory in future competitions.

On this occasion, the head of the Gia Lai province education sector also called on all cadres, teachers, staff, students and pupils to actively compete in innovating teaching methods and improving the quality of education.

Since then, schools have made efforts to train and produce many students with qualifications and knowledge like Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh, to contribute to the development of their homeland and country.
