Valedictorian of block C00: Desire to become a history teacher
Outstandingly becoming the valedictorian of block C00 nationwide in the 2024 high school graduation exam, Nguyen Thanh Xuan - 12th grade History student, Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted, scored 29.75 points, with a specific score of 9 in each subject. 75 Literature points; 10 points in History and 10 points in Geography.
Happy to know the test scores, Thanh Xuan said: "After looking up the scores on the information portal of the Ministry of Education and Training, I was very surprised and happy to know that I scored 29.75 points. But I still don't dare to think that I will be the valedictorian. Receiving the information from the teacher, I burst into tears. Because this is the result of a journey of training and studying for 12 years. This is great pride and happiness for yourself, your family and the school. Not only that, it also contributes to the brilliant achievements of Bac Ninh province in this year's high school graduation exam."
Regarding future plans, Thanh Xuan said that he was admitted through early admission to Hanoi University of Education - History department.
During 3 years of high school, Thanh Xuan achieved many high achievements and was often considered by teachers as the "bright star" of Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted. The female student excellently won first prize in the national excellent student exam in History.
Valedictorian of block D01: Won scholarships from many prestigious universities
The next bright star of the 2024 high school graduation exam is Nguyen Phuong Linh - a student of the English specialized class, Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted, who excellently became the valedictorian of block D01 with a score of 28.75.
Sharing about her achievements, Phuong Linh said she did not feel too surprised because most of the exams were multiple-choice, and the results could be checked immediately after completing the exam. Besides, during the process of studying and participating in survey competitions, female students always maintain a stable performance with high scores.
“When the scores were announced, I looked up my scores and saw that the scoreboard was as high as I expected. I felt happy but didn't pay much attention. It wasn't until my teachers and friends texted me that I learned I was the valedictorian of block D nationwide. My emotions were bursting with joy, I called my mother while crying" - Phuong Linh recounted.
The female student won a 75% scholarship from VinUni University and British University Vietnam (BUV), a 50% scholarship from Fulbright University Vietnam, and a scholarship worth 250 million VND from Swinburne University.
The valedictorian of block B dreams of becoming a doctor
With the same mood as other students, Nguyen Dang Linh Chi - a student at Tran Phu High School for the Gifted (Hai Duong) felt happy because he achieved high results as expected. The female student was even more surprised to learn that she was the valedictorian of block B in the whole country with a total score of 29.55.
In the exams, female students excelled and achieved outstanding achievements. Linh Chi was the valedictorian of the Chemistry class at Tran Phu High School for the Gifted, a member of the national team of excellent students in Chemistry and excellently achieved 8.0 IELTS.
During the exam preparation process, Linh Chi consulted a lot of documents, practiced test sets, practiced many different types of tests and regularly reviewed basic knowledge, from which her test-taking skills improved.
Besides, Linh Chi said, resting, eating well, and getting enough sleep is also very important. I don't have the habit of staying up late studying or overusing coffee to stay awake because that is very harmful to my health. Sharing about his future plans, the national valedictorian of block B said that he wants to study medicine at Hanoi Medical University to realize his dream of becoming a doctor.
