On October 8, reporters were present in Vu Ban town, Lac Son district. When asked, the people and parents were all excited and happy that the Lac Son District Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities is about to be built at a new location. According to observations, the school is currently located in a small alley of Vu Ban town with 2 separate areas (teaching area and boarding area for students).

Ms. Dinh Thi Thanh Tuoi - Principal of Lac Son District Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities said that the school was established in 1995 and is currently located in Vu Ban town, Lac Son district, which is old and degraded. In the 2024-2025 school year, the school has 330 students/11 classes.

According to Ms. Tuoi, the school's campus area is narrow (more than 7,700 m2) with no playground or training ground, causing many difficulties in improving students' physical strength during the learning and training process.

In addition, the school's dormitory, built in the 90s, has deteriorated, many rooms are leaking, water seepage in the walls, weak lighting system... The school campus is divided into two separate areas, causing difficulties in managing and implementing the school's educational activities, student management by the Board of Directors and protecting the facilities...
