On the morning of October 16, in order to promptly congratulate and encourage student Vo Quang Phu Duc, the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien Hue province organized a ceremony to commend and award a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to student Vo Quang Phu Duc - Olympia Champion of the 24th year.
At the ceremony, Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong emphasized: "Achieving the laurel wreath is a very worthy achievement for Phu Duc's efforts, we are proud of him. At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong thanked Phu Duc, his parents, teachers at the schools he had attended, especially teachers at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, who had always cared for, supported and created all conditions for him to develop and shine his talent; The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee thanked the departments and branches for creating a grand atmosphere, helping Phu Duc gain more motivation and confidence to make wise decisions and smart strategies to win the championship in a worthy and convincing manner; as well as bringing the image of his hometown Thua Thien Hue on the way to becoming a centrally-run city to domestic and international friends.
