The Lunar New Year holiday schedule for 2025 is specified in the 2024-2025 school year schedule as prescribed by the People's Committees of provinces and cities. However, this schedule may change, depending on the actual situation.
Below is the updated Tet holiday schedule of provinces and cities.
28. Vinh Phuc:
Pursuant to document 2296/SGDDT-VP of the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Phuc province, students at all levels will have 9 days off for Lunar New Year, from Saturday, January 25, 2025 (ie December 26, year of Giap Thin) to Sunday, February 2, 2025 (ie January 5, year of At Ty).
29. Nam Dinh:
Pursuant to Document No. 2464/SGDDT-VP in 2024, the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday schedule in Nam Dinh province is as follows:
- Officials, civil servants, public employees, workers, and students of the Department of Education and Training, Department of Education and Training of districts and cities of Nam Dinh; preschools, primary schools, junior high schools, high schools, continuing education centers, career guidance - continuing education centers, vocational education - continuing education centers, Nam Dinh Pedagogical College will have Lunar New Year holidays in 2025 from Saturday, January 25, 2025 (ie December 26, Giap Thin year) to Sunday, February 2, 2025 (ie January 5, At Ty year).
- Students of Nam Dinh Pedagogical College: The Department of Education and Training assigned Nam Dinh Pedagogical College to notify students of the Lunar New Year holiday in 2025 in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the school's training plan, and report to the Department (through the Department Office) before January 10, 2025.
30. Phu Yen:
During the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday, students in Phu Yen province will have 11 days off, from January 23 to February 2, 2025 (December 24 to January 5).
For civil servants, public employees, and workers in the education sector, the holiday is from January 25 to February 2, 2025 (December 26 to January 5).
31. Bac Lieu
The Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu province has just sent a document to the Departments of Education and Training and affiliated units regarding holidays and hanging of the national flag on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty in 2025.
Accordingly, for students of public preschools, general education and continuing education institutions: Tet holiday from January 20 to February 2 (December 21, Giap Thin year to January 5, At Ty year), return to school on February 3, 2025.
