Outstandingly winning the 4th Quarter competition with 215 points, Nguyen Nguyen Phu not only won the laurel wreath for himself but also brought the final score of the 24th Road to Olympia to the High School for the Gifted (Hanoi National University of Education).
Sharing with Lao Dong, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Huong - Phu's homeroom teacher and English teacher since grade 10 - commented that Nguyen Phu is a good, witty and well-rounded student: "Phu was once in the top 3 of the class in English, so I wanted him to join the excellent student team. However, Phu later had another direction, which was to hope to get a scholarship through the program "Road to Olympia". Phu always wanted to study and learn in many fields, so he was very enthusiastic and he was also very smart.
Because "Road to Olympia" requires knowledge in all fields, the questions will be spread across all subjects, so Phu has to make an effort and study and research a lot on his own. It can be said that Phu is a fairly comprehensive student and one of the best students in class 12 English 1".
Before the final round of "Road to Olympia" 2024, the homeroom teacher also sent a message hoping that Phu would fulfill his dream and conquer the laurel wreath.
"Not only Phu, but also his friends and teachers at the Pedagogical High School hope that he will win and become the champion of the 24th season of "Road to Olympia". However, we also hope that Phu will not feel too much pressure because reaching the finals is a long journey, and everyone can see and acknowledge his efforts.

Not only excelling in his studies, Nguyen Phu also regularly participates in many school and class activities as a group leader and Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union. Nguyen Phu's classmates all share that the male student is very active in activities, always enthusiastically helping friends both in studying and in other activities.
Being a close friend of Nguyen Phu since grade 10, Nguyen Trong Hieu (grade 12 English 1 student, High School for the Gifted) said that Phu is a good friend, very hard-working and always tries hard in his studies.
