On November 30, Dong Thap University (DTHU) held two important events: awarding a master's degree and opening a doctoral training course in 2025. Accordingly, the school awarded master's degrees to 84 students who have graduated in 3 majors, including: Education Management; Theory and teaching methods of Mathematics; Theoretical Physics and Physics.
At the same time, open doctoral training for 25 recent admitted students in 3 majors: Educational Management; Theory and teaching methods of Mathematics; Chemistry and Theory and Chemistry.
Notably, at today's master's degree awarding ceremony, 83 students attended because the remaining new master, Tran Tan Tien - a student majoring in " theoretical and teaching methods of Mathematics" - unfortunately passed away before the graduation ceremony. It is known that during his studies, Tran Tan Tien always had high achievements in studying and researching.
Therefore, at the ceremony, after sending congratulations to all new masters, Associate Professor, Dr. Ho Van Thong - Principal of DThU - directly sent his condolences and sincere gratitude to the family of new master Tran Tan Tien.
At the same time, the Certificate of Merit and Master's Certificate were presented to the representative of the family of new master Tran Tan Tien. On this occasion, the Principal of DThU also presented a symbol to refund tuition fees to new master Tran Tan Tien in the amount of VND 18,750,000.
