The benchmark is expected to decrease by 1-2 points
Sharing with Lao Dong on the morning of July 19, MSc. Nguyen Quang Trung, Deputy Head of the Communications - Admissions Department, University of Commerce, predicted that the high school graduation exam score in 2025 will be lower than the previous two years, so the school's benchmark this year will decrease.
"There are many factors affecting this, but the benchmark score has not decreased significantly, only about 1-2 points compared to last year" - Mr. Trung informed.
However, Mr. Trung said that this year, universities do not have specific quotas for each admission method, so the admission score will depend on the number of candidates taking the admission based on the ability assessment test scores, thinking assessment or admission combined with international certificates and academic records.
"If the number of these candidates is large, the admission score will not decrease much; otherwise, the score will decrease relatively.
The decrease in admission scores also depends on the attraction of the industry. For majors with less candidates interested, the benchmark scores will decrease further than the school's hot majors (most interested majors)" - he said.

Regarding the issue of converting scores to the same scale, MSc. Nguyen Quang Trung said that the school follows the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training and does not encounter any difficulties because most of the school's methods require candidates to use the exam scores of at least 2 graduation exam subjects.
As for the only admission method combining international language certificates and academic records, the school will convert and announce before 5:00 p.m. on July 23, according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

In 2025, the University of Commerce will enroll 5,320 students, an increase of 70 students compared to last year (in 2024, enrollment was 4,950 students), with 45 training programs (CTDT).

6 admission methods used by the school in the 2025 admission season include:
