4 people hospitalized after multiple traffic collisions in Hanoi

Hanoi - 2 cars and 2 motorbikes collided on Au Co street, causing 4 people to be hospitalized and causing local traffic congestion.

Initial information, the series of accidents occurred on the morning of January 27 (28th of Tet) at the gate of Quang An flower market (Tay Ho district, Hanoi).

At the time of the accident, 4 vehicles including 2 cars and 2 motorbikes were traveling in the same direction on Au Co Street (towards Nhat Tan).

At about house number 240 Au Co street, a white car with license plate 30A-988.xx crashed into 2 motorbikes (license plate unknown). Then, a small car with license plate 30A-988.xx continued to crash into car 30K-623.xx.

A witness at the scene said that four people on two motorbikes were taken to the emergency room.

At the scene, 2 motorbikes were deformed and 2 cars were severely damaged. The accident caused local traffic congestion on Au Co Street.

After the accident, officers and soldiers of Traffic Police Team No. 2 (Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police) arrived at the scene to direct and regulate traffic.

The cause of the accident is being investigated by authorities.
