On May 23, B'Lao Ward Police (Lam Dong) said that the unit had just organized the pasting of 400 propaganda leaflets with the message "Alcohol and beer drinkers - do not drive" on roads, eateries, restaurants and crowded areas.
The activity aims to raise awareness of law compliance on traffic order and safety, contributing to preventing traffic accidents caused by alcohol and beer use.
Accordingly, officers and soldiers of B'Lao Ward Police directly distribute leaflets to vehicle owners and drivers; remind people to raise their awareness of law compliance; and at the same time clearly recognize the harmful effects of alcohol and beer when participating in traffic as well as the penalties according to current regulations.
The use of alcohol and beer reduces the ability to observe, react and handle situations, which is the cause of many serious traffic accidents.
Therefore, each citizen needs to seriously comply with the regulation "when drinking alcohol and beer - do not drive"; proactively choose public transport, ask relatives to pick them up or use alternative driving services to ensure safety for themselves and the community.
