On April 18, the Hanoi Department of Construction announced a pilot adjustment of traffic organization on Le Truc and Thanh Bao streets (Ba Dinh district) to ensure safety and reduce traffic congestion.
Accordingly, on Thanh Bao Street, two-way traffic will be organized for vehicles from Son Tay to Tran Phu; vehicles must be prohibited from parking in both directions from Son Tay to Tran Phu.
On Le Truc Street, two-way traffic is organized for vehicles from Tran Phu to Nguyen Thai Hoc.
The pilot implementation period starts from April 19 to September 15.
The Department of Construction assigned the Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board to organize the paving of the entire Tran Phu Street (from Le Truc to Kim Ma section), combined with adjusting the sign system, adding a system to ensure traffic safety, installing additional signs, paint lines... according to the pilot plan to adjust traffic organization.
At the same time, install traffic repair combined with painting lines and installing signs at the Thanh Bao - Tran Phu intersection; installing horse foundation islands for vehicles turning around from Tran Phu to Nguyen Thai Hoc at the Nguyen Thai Hoc - Tran Phu - Kim Ma intersection, painting 3 additional waiting lanes for buses to stop when entering the station; long-term research on installing traffic lights;
The Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board monitors and assesses the traffic situation on the route and area to promptly detect inadequacies and propose adjustments to the traffic organization plan accordingly.
