CÔNG SÁNG |

In the chilly air of the day before Tet, workers at Gianh bridge construction site are enthusiastically working, determined to complete the project on schedule.

Safety is our top priority

The Gianh Bridge construction project, connecting an important section of the Gianh River on National Highway 1, is becoming a highlight in the transport infrastructure in Quang Binh. The project starts at Km624+799 in Ba Don town and ends at Km626+901 in Ha Trach commune, Bo Trach district. The bridge is nearly 750m long, promising to enhance transport connectivity and economic development in the region.

The project road section is designed with a roadbed width of 20.5m, including 4 lanes for motor vehicles. The new bridge is 12m wide, including 2 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for non-motor vehicles. This modern design ensures the ability to serve future traffic.

According to Mr. Vu Van Hoa - Officer of Cau Gianh Management Board of Dat Phuong Group Joint Stock Company. Up to now, the project is constructing bored piles divided into 2 construction teams, while the 3rd team focuses on girder construction. It is expected that after the Lunar New Year holiday, the Project Management Board will mobilize maximum human resources and equipment for 4 teams to construct the pedestal, pier body and cantilever.

The project management board pays special attention to labor safety. Right from the start, workers are thoroughly trained in safety, provided with labor protection equipment and necessary equipment. Before each shift, workers are clearly assigned and reminded of risks that may arise during the construction process.

At the construction site, the management board arranges nutritious meals to ensure the health of all workers and laborers. These are necessary steps to maintain construction progress and efficiency.

In the days before Tet, the atmosphere at Gianh Bridge construction site becomes even more bustling as the team of workers and management team work together to complete the proposed items.

Mr. Vu Van Hoa shared: "We not only focus on progress but also pay special attention to the lives of workers during the days before Tet."

According to Mr. Hoa, the management board has coordinated to organize special meals at the end of the year, bringing the Tet atmosphere to the construction site.

Contribute to economic and social development

Mr. Vu Duy Hinh (born in 1974, from Hai Duong), a construction worker at Gianh Bridge construction site, shared that workers here were instructed to be provided with full equipment from the beginning.

"At the construction site, we always focus on ensuring absolute safety while working. We understand that every small mistake can affect the progress and safety of the project. We all have the same goal of completing the project on schedule," said Mr. Hinh.

Mr. Hinh added that not only does the management ensure safety at work, it also cares about the lives of the workers. Meals are prepared with full nutrition, and the resting place is also very clean and comfortable. This helps workers feel secure in their work and devote themselves to the project.

He expressed his hope that this project will be a milestone for many workers to be recognized for their efforts and have more opportunities to develop in the future.Gianh Bridge is not only a traffic connection but also a testament to the collective efforts of the whole team.
Gianh Bridge project is an important step forward in developing traffic infrastructure in Quang Binh. The new bridge not only helps connect traffic between regions but also acts as an economic link, contributing to promoting outstanding development for the entire region.
