On October 29, the Office of the People's Committee of Son La province informed that the People's Committee of the province has just issued a decision approving the component project of Compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance in Moc Chau district of the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau Expressway construction investment project (section in Son La province).

The total length of this route is 1.05km. The project implementation progress is from 2024-2025.
The expected land area to be recovered and cleared is nearly 124,000m2, including: Land for growing other annual crops is about 53,127m2; Land for growing perennial crops is about 61,707m2; River and stream land, traffic land is about 4,004m2; Protective forest land is about 5,000m2.
The total investment of the project is nearly 37 billion VND, including: Compensation and site clearance support costs of more than 29 billion VND; Site clearance costs of nearly 1.8 billion VND; Other costs of more than 500 million VND; Contingency costs of nearly 5.3 billion VND.
Previously, on the morning of September 29, at Xeo hamlet, Cao Son commune, Da Bac district, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau Expressway Project (Km19+000-Km53+000).
Hoa Binh - Moc Chau Expressway Project (section through Hoa Binh province) with a length of about 34km, total investment of 9,997 billion VND, the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Traffic Works of Hoa Binh province is the investor.
