Hanoi - The Chairman of the City People's Committee basically agreed with the content of the report of the Tay Ho District People's Committee on the necessity of expanding the routes around West Lake.

The Office of the City People's Committee has just issued a notice of the conclusion of Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh on the policy of implementing the planning and investment project to renovate, upgrade and expand the roads around West Lake, Tay Ho District.

Accordingly, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh basically agreed with the report and assessment of the Tay Ho District People's Committee on the current status and necessity of renovating, upgrading and expanding the roads around West Lake, meeting the needs of people for sightseeing and travel, promoting the value of the landscape space of West Lake.

The City People's Committee assigned the Tay Ho District People's Committee to urgently coordinate with relevant units to urgently complete the Project to Preserve and Promote the Value of West Lake and surrounding areas, synthesize and report to the City People's Committee before March 20.

Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh assigned Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan to meet with the People's Committee of Tay Ho District, relevant departments, branches of the city and units to review and specifically direct the above content to report to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee according to regulations before March 25. At the same time, direct the completion of the overall research plan to expand the routes around West Lake.

In addition, the Department of Planning and Architecture was assigned to advise and report to the City People's Committee on the implementation of local adjustments to the Urban Zoning Plan for the West Lake and surrounding areas (A6), detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 as a basis for implementing investment in the construction of roads around West Lake and functional areas around West Lake.
