At noon on November 18, speaking with Lao Dong reporter, Mr. Mai Van Hoai - Chairman of Nam Cuong Commune People's Committee (Tien Hai District, Thai Binh Province) - confirmed that a traffic accident had just occurred in the area, causing 1 person to die on the spot.
According to initial information, the incident occurred at around 9:30 a.m. on November 18. Ms. L.T.H (born in 1964, residing in Hoang Mon village, Nam Cuong commune, Tien Hai district, Thai Binh province) was driving a motorbike when she reached the sea dike section adjacent to Cong Lan I in Hoang Mon village, Nam Cuong commune, and collided with a car with license plate 17A - 369.44 driven by a man (unknown identity, residing in Dong Minh commune, Tien Hai district, Thai Binh province) going in the opposite direction.
As a result, after the strong collision, the car and Ms. H both plunged down the embankment. Ms. H was confirmed dead at the scene due to severe trauma, the man driving the car was fortunately uninjured. Both vehicles were severely damaged.
Immediately after the incident, Nam Cuong Commune Police and the Traffic Police Team of Tien Hai District Police were present to protect the scene and direct traffic.
Next, officers from the Investigation Police Agency - Tien Hai District Police, representatives of the People's Procuracy at the same level were present to conduct investigation procedures into the cause of the accident.
