Many sections of Hanoi's Ring Road 4 have not been handed over

Hanoi strives to complete the Ring Road 4 parallel road in 2025, but up to now, there are still 18 sections of the site that have not been handed over to the contractor for construction.

The Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board has just released information related to the progress of the Ring Road 4 project through the city.

According to the Project Management Board, the city has so far approved and reclaimed 787.75/798.65 hectares, reaching 98.64%, the remaining 10.9 hectares have not been cleared in Me Linh, Dan Phuong, Hoai Duc districts and Ha Dong district.

The city has received 776.97/785.42 hectares of land, equivalent to 48.36/52.73km, reaching 91.7%. However, there are still many interruptions and bean sprouts on the route (about 18 sections have not been handed over the site, about 4.38km long).

Relevant units have completed 13/13 resettlement areas, handing over residential land to 346/1,079 households. The city strives to complete site clearance and hand over the entire site in the second quarter of 2025.

It is expected that the relocation of technical infrastructure items will be completed in the first quarter of 2025.

Regarding the progress of the implementation of component projects through Hanoi, after 20 months from the groundbreaking date, 4 construction packages of component project 2.1 - Construction of parallel roads (urban roads) have been simultaneously deployed by contractors on the area of land handed over, equivalent to 48.35/52.43km with 32 construction points (23 road points, 9 bridge points).

To date, the volume of roadbed sand filling is about 85.01%; roadbed filling is about 62.27%; crushed stone aggregate is about 35.04%.

In Me Linh, Dan Phuong, Hoai Duc districts, the contractor has constructed about 30km of asphalt concrete. The progress is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.

For component project 3 - Investment in the construction of the expressway system under the public-private partnership method, the Project Management Board strives to complete the selection of investors and start the project in the second quarter of@2025.

The investment project to build the Ring Road 4 in the Capital Region has a total length of about 113.52km (of which 103.82km is the main route and 9.7km is the connecting route towards Noi Bai - Ha Long Expressway), starting point at Km3+695 of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway, ending point at Km40+500 of the Noi Bai - Ha Long Expressway.

The section in Hanoi is about 57.52km long; the section in Hung Yen province is about 19.3km; the section in Bac Ninh province is about 35.7km.

The completion of Ring Road 4 in the Capital Region will contribute to relieving traffic congestion, connecting provinces and creating new development space for the entire Capital Region, including Hanoi, Hung Yen and Bac Ninh.
