At the 22nd Session today (November 5), the 14th term People's Council of Quang Ninh province, term 2021-2026, reviewed and approved a series of resolutions, including the Resolution on approving the investment policy for the Project to renovate and upgrade Provincial Road 330, from Ba Che town to Provincial Road 342.
The project's goal is to gradually complete a synchronous and modern transport system according to the plan, connecting the center of Ba Che district with the highlands and connecting with Bac Giang, Lang Son provinces and Ha Long city through provincial road 342 which is being upgraded.
The starting point of the project is at Km10+700 - existing provincial road 330 (gas station intersection area, Ba Che town); the end point is at the intersection with existing provincial road 342 (in Thanh Lam commune, Ba Che district).
The total length of the current research route is approximately 23.5km. After renovation and upgrading, the route length will be shortened to approximately 20.63km.
After upgrading, the road will be a grade 3 mountainous road, including 2 lanes (9m wide roadbed, 6m wide road surface, 2 x 1m reinforced shoulder like the road surface structure)...
Total investment is expected to be about 990 billion VND, from the Quang Ninh provincial budget.
Project implementation period shall not exceed 4 years from the date of issuance of the investment decision.
Provincial Road 330 starts from National Highway 18A, in Hai Lang commune, Tien Yen district, Quang Ninh province, passes through Ba Che town, to Thanh Lam commune, Ba Che district and then to Duong Huu commune, Son Dong district, Bac Giang province.
Previously, Quang Ninh province inaugurated the project to upgrade and expand Highway 342 through Ba Che district, Quang Ninh province connecting with Lang Son province.
The project to upgrade Road 342, the section from Ba Che district, Quang Ninh province, is about 23km long, with the starting point connecting with Ky Thuong commune, Ha Long city at Km 37+500 and the ending point connecting with Bac Lang commune, Dinh Lap district, Lang Son province at Km 58+405.
According to the project, the road is designed according to the mountain level 3 standard, 2 lanes, 9m wide, with widening and slope reduction, and cornering based on the old route. The route is designed with 4 bridges, 1 level intersection with Provincial Road 330; drainage and protection systems... The project has a total investment of more than 800 billion VND from the Quang Ninh provincial budget.
