Information from Team 1 of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) said that at around 6:30 p.m., at Km16 of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway (from Lao Cai to Hanoi, Vinh Phuc province), a series of accidents occurred involving about 10 cars. The vehicles involved in the collision included a passenger bus, a car, a tractor-trailer and a truck.
At the scene, some cars were crushed at the front and rear of the car, many pieces of debris were scattered on the highway surface. Traffic through Km16 from Lao Cai to Hanoi was congested.
Upon receiving the news, the functional forces were present at the scene to protect, divide, coordinate with the functional forces to clarify the accident. At the same time, relocating the vehicles seriously damaged from the scene.
Initially, traffic police determined that there were no casualties in the accident.
