On the morning of December 3, the Director of Lam Dong Province Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1 said that the unit had officially approved Son Hai Group Company Limited as the investor to implement the Tan Phu (Dong Nai) - Bao Loc (Lam Dong) expressway construction project.
This is a key transport infrastructure project with a total investment of VND 14,475 billion, implemented in the form of public-private partnership (PPP) - BOT contract (Build - operate - Transfer).
This decision marks an important step forward, promising to strengthen connectivity and promote economic development between the two provinces.

The expressway passes through wards 1 Bao Loc, 2 Bao Loc and the communes of Da Huoai, Da Huoai 2, Da Teh 2 of Lam Dong province, along with Phu Lam and Nam Cat Tien communes of Dong Nai province.
The total length of the route is about 65.88km. Of which, 11.91km belongs to Dong Nai and 53.97km belongs to Lam Dong. Group A project, level I road traffic project, designed for a speed of 80 km/h.
The phased phase has 4 lanes, a roadbed width of 17m, and non-continuous emergency stopping arrangements; some sections of the roadbed are dug deep, high and the intersection is designed to be 22m complete.

The project will include works serving the exploitation such as: Smart Traffic Operation Center, toll station, rescue station, rest stop and vehicle load control works, ensuring synchronization and efficiency according to current standards.
The total estimated investment is funded by equity, investor loans and State support capital.
The construction phase is expected to last 25 months, completed on December 31, 2027. After completion, Son Hai Group will operate and exploit the expressway for 23 years and 9 months, with toll collection implemented when ensuring compliance with legal conditions.
