On December 2, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien - Deputy Director of the Lam Dong Provincial Traffic Project Management Board - said that the unit had completed the selection of a consulting contractor to survey, install piles for site clearance and prepare a feasibility study report for the road project from the Le Duan - Truong Chinh intersection to the intersection with the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway.
The consulting unit is conducting surveys, depositing for site clearance and preparing a feasibility study report. The pile placement work is expected to be completed on December 12, 2025, and the feasibility study dossier is expected to be completed in December 2025 for appraisal.

The project is subject to an environmental impact assessment report and appraisal authority under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
The Provincial Traffic Project Management Board is inviting bids for a consulting package to prepare an environmental impact assessment dossier according to regulations.
The 25ha resettlement area managed by the Construction Investment Management Board No. 2 is also being implemented to prepare for land acquisition for people.

According to the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board, the biggest obstacle at present is site clearance, with nearly 242 hectares of land needing to be recovered, involving hundreds of households in Binh Thuan and Tien Thanh wards.
Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai requested Binh Thuan ward to speed up site clearance work. The Construction Investment Management Board No. 2 has completed the resettlement area dossier. The Department of Finance promptly appraised this resettlement area and contributed comments according to the proposal of the Department of Construction.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment is assigned to coordinate in developing a compensation regime and price list for crops in the project implementation area. The Department of Construction reviewed the land price list and compensation price for crops not included in the province's regulations to guide the locality in implementing this December.

The road project from Le Duan - Truong Chinh intersection to the expressway intersection is 12km long, reclaiming land along both sides of the road. The total investment is about 4,712 billion VND. The first phase will invest in 6 lanes for motor vehicles.
The project is expected to start construction in 2026 and be completed in 2030. When put into use, the route will expand the urban space of Phan Thiet and create momentum for the development of the East - West economic corridor of the province.
