Mr. Thai said that package number 8, section passing through Soc Son and Me Linh districts, has completed more than 35% of the construction volume. Particularly, the section passing through Tan Dan commune (Soc Son) has been covered with layers of asphalt to prepare for completion.
According to Mr. Thai, the carpeting of asphalt layers marks an important milestone in the construction process of Project Component 2.1.
“The road is being carpeted with C25 hollow plastic, after this layer there will be 2 more layers of carpet. This is the first section to be paved over the entire length of Ring Road 4 of the Capital Region" - Mr. Thai added.
Taking advantage of the sunny weather, contractors accelerated the process of asphalting the road surface. In addition, the contractor divided into many construction phases to carry out construction and installation work, speeding up the project progress.
Ring Road 4 of the Capital Region has a total length of 112.8 km, passing through 3 provinces and cities, including Hanoi (57.95 km), Hung Yen (19.31 km), Bac Ninh (36.26 km).
The project has a total investment of over 85,813 billion VND divided into 7 component projects.
Construction began in June 2023 and is on schedule to complete the parallel road according to project approval in 2026, and complete the expressway in 2027.
