Ho Chi Minh City has officially announced the plan to organize the traffic organization connecting Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa, serving to connect to T3 station of Tan Son Nhat Airport.

T3 station T3 Tan Son Nhat airport has a total investment of nearly 11,000 billion dong, is expected to officially come into operation from the occasion of April 30.

The station has a scale of 1 basement and 4 floating floors, the capacity to serve 20 million passengers/year, focusing on domestic flights, helping to significantly reduce the load for the existing T1 station - which is overloaded.

It is expected that after the 30th holiday, T3 station will officially serve domestic flights of Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air.

Due to the separate location with T1 and T2 stations, the organization of traffic into T3 station is also designed separately, convenient for many approaches.

According to the plan approved by the Department of Transport of Ho Chi Minh City, the route from Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa (leading to T3 station) will be organized two -way circulation for all types of vehicles.

At the intersection of 18E - Phan Thuc Duyen, the traffic adjustment plan will ensure that the vehicles from the Republic can go straight to the overpass and enter the T3 station.

In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transportation suggested relevant units such as the Southern Airport Authority, Vietnam Airport Corporation ... installing full signs instructing T3 station. In particular, at the overpass branch, only allowed cars and two -wheelers to turn left into the parking lot and the main gate area of T3 station.

The Center for Road Traffic Infrastructure Management is tasked with adding additional signs, adjusting the median strip on Cong Hoa Street at the 18E intersection to create left -turn lanes, ensuring completion before April 20.

At the same time, this unit will closely monitor the traffic situation around Tan Son Nhat airport to make appropriate adjustments after the works officially put into use.
