On November 29, many people in Ham Tien 3 quarter, Mui Ne ward (Lam Dong province) witnessed a heartbreaking moment when a truck suddenly lost its brakes while going downhill on Ho Quang Canh street.
At that time, the truck with license plate 37H-078.75 was traveling down the slope, towards the intersection with Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street and Hoa Binh Street.

This is an area with many people and tourists. When the vehicle has just come down the slope, the vehicle's braking system may have a problem, making it impossible for the driver to stop the vehicle.
The witnesses recounted that the car crashed straight through the intersection. The driver drove the car into Hoa Binh Street to avoid colliding with a pedestrian.

On this road, the truck crashed into the trash bins along the road to slow down and avoid a child riding an electric bicycle. The vehicle only stopped after running about 500m and through a curve.
At the scene, an electric bicycle fell, but fortunately there were no casualties.

People around said that similar incidents have occurred on this slope, especially for drivers who are unfamiliar with the road or heavy trucks, and are prone to "losing brakes" when going down the slope.
