Vietnamese golfers are getting used to the course in Chonburi (Thailand) to be ready to compete officially on December 11.
Currently, Nguyen Anh Minh is in Thailand and training with his teammates. The coaching staff of the Vietnam Golf Team said that members are trained to get used to the terrain and climate on the field in each session of the day. Each session will have different training content. All Vietnamese golfers are currently in Thailand.
Mr. Minh traveled from the US to Thailand to join the Golf Team at this 33rd SEA Games.
Two years ago, this golfer won a silver medal for teammates and an individual bronze medal at the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia. This year, Anh Minh continues to expect good results in the men's team event and seeks opportunities to improve in individual results.
The team and individual events for men and women of the 33rd SEA Games golf tournament kicked off on December 11.
The golf course of the 33rd SEA Games will only take place in 4 days. On December 14, the final results will be determined. Nguyen Anh Minh is currently ranked 44th on the world amateur men's golf rankings. This is the highest-ranked golfer of the Vietnam Golf Team in the 33rd SEA Games.
According to the program, Vietnamese golfers are expected to practice on the last day of December 10 before entering the official competition. The 33rd SEA Games golf course is the Siam Country Club Pattaya course (Chonburi, Thailand). Vietnam registered 7 golfers (4 men's, 3 women's) to compete in the 33rd SEA Games golf tournament.
