Within the framework of the festival, the Workshop on Sustainable Development of the Vietnamese Golf Industry with the participation of sharing and exchanging opinions of sports journalists and leading experts in the golf field, highlighted the potential, position and prospects of the Vietnamese golf industry.
In addition, accompanying programs such as: Exhibition and display activities "Vietnam Golf Road", golf experience activities; fashion shows, golf health; introduction of special cuisine... have attracted hundreds of thousands of enthusiastic participants.
In terms of expertise, the Vietnam Golf Festival - Nha Trang 2024 Cup tournament, with the participation of hundreds of golfers, along with many attractive and excellent performances, marks a new step in bringing golf closer to audiences nationwide.
It is even more meaningful when the Vietnam - Nha Trang Golf Festival 2024 has many humanitarian activities. That is the act of giving 500 million VND to the program "Lighting up the faith - Overcoming difficulties to go to school" of the organizing committee to contribute more resources to take care of poor and disadvantaged students in remote areas and Khanh Hoa province.
According to the Vietnam Golf Association, there are currently more than 70 golf courses nationwide, including 27-36 and 54-hole golf courses such as Dong Mo, Phoenix Hoa Binh, SkyLake, Long Thanh, Tan Son Nhat. The number of golf courses has grown rapidly in the period from 2010 to present.
Currently, investors are also very interested in the golf industry thanks to attracting international investment when Vietnam is a very suitable destination to promote golf tourism and resort. Vietnam is an emerging golf market, so the interest as well as the number of people participating in this sport is still growing positively.
With the theme “100 years of Vietnamese golf”, the Festival is organized in coordination between Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and related units, to honor the development history of golf over the past 100 years in Vietnam, thereby contributing to stimulating the development of Vietnam tourism in general and Khanh Hoa tourism in particular.
