Da Nang - Saigon Jewelry Company - SJC closed 2 stores and temporarily suspended transactions.

On the morning of October 8, the two SJC stores at 193 Hung Vuong and 185 Nguyen Van Linh were still closed. Notices were posted in front of the two stores with the content: "Temporarily suspended trading". The store closures for unknown reasons have caused inconvenience to many customers who want to buy and sell gold.

Two SJC gold stores in Da Nang closed without announcing the reason or reopening time, making many people who want to buy and sell gold restless because they cannot be proactive in buying and selling gold.

Unable to call the store, many Da Nang residents went to the branch's Facebook page to ask questions but still received no response.

Ms. Thai Ngoc Quynh (Son Tra district, Da Nang city) said that she once bought 5 taels of gold at the SJC Central store on Hung Vuong street, but now she has something to do so she has to come here to sell.

"The store has been closed for the past two days. The store only announced a temporary suspension of trading, without clearly stating the reason or contact method. Now I don't know what to do because if I sell at another gold brand, I will clearly suffer a loss in price difference," Ms. Quynh said worriedly.

Standing in the rain waiting for the store on Nguyen Van Linh Street to open, Mr. Tran Van Dung (Thanh Khe District) said: "I came here at 9am, saw the store was closed, I called the phone number on the sign but no one answered. I tried to wait longer but still no one came to open the door. I am really unhappy because the store is closed at a time when gold prices are rising."

As of 9:00 a.m. on October 8, the price of SJC gold bars was listed by DOJI Group at VND83 - 85 million/tael (buy - sell). Compared to the beginning of the previous trading session, the gold price at DOJI increased by VND1 million/tael for both buying and selling.

The difference between buying and selling prices of SJC gold at DOJI Group is at 2 million VND/tael.
