On March 21, at Thanh Binh Industrial Park (Cho Moi District, Bac Kan), a groundbreaking ceremony for the Thang Long Bac Kan Industrial Pressure Board Factory took place.
The project is invested by Thang Long Bac Kan Production and Trading Joint Stock Company, with a total investment of 360 billion VND, built on an area of 5.15 hectares with a designed capacity of 100,000m3 of products/year.
The factory includes main items such as factory area, operating office, wastewater treatment system, fire prevention and fighting, meeting technical and environmental standards.
According to the plan, the project will be completed and put into operation in 2026, producing wood for sticking, wood forging, and pressureboard to serve the domestic market and for export.
Mr. Dinh Quang Tuyen - Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Kan province emphasized that the project not only contributes to increasing the value of the wood processing industry but also creates additional budget revenue, promoting local industrial development.
The provincial leader also requested relevant departments and branches to support the project to be implemented on schedule and soon promote economic efficiency.
When the project is completed and put into operation, it will help increase job opportunities for local workers and create momentum for the development of related service industries.
This is not only an investment project but also an important step forward in the development of Bac Kan's wood processing industry, helping to better exploit the potential of local forest products and create a sustainable value chain.
