Readers asked about the number of industrial parks and land funds of industrial parks in Bac Ninh province after the merger.

"The two provinces of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang before the merger were both localities with many industrial parks in the North with very large industrial land funds. So, after the merger, Bac Ninh province currently has a total of how many industrial parks and how many hectares of industrial land", reader Nguyen Van Hung (Hanoi) asked a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper.

Regarding the above question, according to recent statistics from the authorities of Bac Ninh province, the whole province currently has 36 industrial parks established with more than 10,600 hectares.

According to the plan, Bac Ninh province will develop up to 50 industrial parks, with a total area of over 15,000 hectares.

Currently, a number of strategic infrastructure projects are being strongly implemented, especially Gia Binh International Airport, with a scale of nearly 1,960 hectares, 4F standard - the new gateway to the capital and the North in the future.

This will be an important driving force to promote investment, logistics, and services, creating new competitive advantages for Bac Ninh province in the next decade, while serving both national defense and security goals.

In the first 9 months of 2025, Bac Ninh province has attracted over 15 billion USD in converted investment capital. Of which, 162 new domestic investment projects and 262 FDI projects were granted. In terms of FDI attraction alone, Bac Ninh is currently leading the country.
