The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued an official dispatch on asking for opinions on the project "Goertek Public Service accommodation and business area" in Nam Son - hap Linh Industrial Park, Bac Ninh province.
The official dispatch sent to the Ministry of National Defense stated that the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province respectfully reported and requested the Ministry of National Defense to give written opinions on the suitability of the Investment Project "Goertek Public Service accommodation and business area" at the land lot HCDV1-1, Nam Son - hap Linh Industrial Park, Bac Ninh province for the defense sector in the project implementation area, specifically as follows:
Information about the Project: The Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Ninh province has received the Document and dossier of the Investor "Goertek Hong Kong CO., LTD." proposing to implement the project.
The investment project uses land of 28,105.5 m2, with a total investment of about 100 million USD. The project plans to build an 11-storey building with a scale of about 1,160 rooms; in which the first floor is for kiosks and stores, from the 2nd to the 11th floor is a accommodation facility, meeting the needs of about 5,336 people, including foreign experts and workers of the enterprise.
To have a basis to consider resolving the investor's proposal, on August 22, 2025, the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Ninh province issued an Official Letter to the Military Command of Bac Ninh province asking for opinions on the above investment project.
In the document dated September 3, 2025, the Military Command of Bac Ninh province commented: The content of the review for comments on the project "Goertek Public Service accommodation and Business Area" under the authority of the Ministry of National Defense.
The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has assigned the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Ninh province to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Military Command: Provide records and documents, work with the specialized agency of the Ministry of National Defense upon request.
