Facilitating FDI enterprises
According to the Binh Duong Provincial Electronic Information Portal, on the afternoon of November 22, the Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Consulate General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City to organize a dialogue conference with Japanese enterprises.
At the conference, provincial leaders and departments, branches and sectors directly discussed and listened to the Japanese Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City present difficulties and problems, as well as proposals for the province's development orientation in the coming time.
According to the reflection from representatives of Japanese enterprises, recently, illegal credit organizations have taken advantage of employees' personal information, such as their work position and title, to contact the company directly through many channels to harass the business. Some company employees have also been threatened and pressured through text messages or personal calls.
In addition to illegal credit, Japanese enterprises also raised some difficulties regarding policies and labor in Binh Duong. Many enterprises said that although they have connected with employment centers, young workers now tend to work abroad, so recruiting workers is difficult, causing great pressure on production activities.
In addition, the process of granting work permits to foreigners takes a long time, affecting the recruitment and development plan of international human resources. Enterprises expect the Provincial People's Committee to improve the process and provide more effective support measures.
Regarding transport infrastructure, businesses proposed developing a highway connecting the seaport and airport with Binh Duong, and encouraging the use of public transport such as buses to address the increase in personal vehicles.
In response to the issues raised by businesses, representatives of departments, agencies and sectors provided specific information and answers.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that the province always highly appreciates the potential of Japanese investors and hopes that Japanese enterprises will continue to expand their investment in Binh Duong province. Provincial leaders pledged to always accompany and create favorable conditions for enterprises in the production and business process in Binh Duong because the success of enterprises is also the success of the province.
In addition to Japanese investors, recently, leaders of Binh Duong province and departments have met with Korean and Chinese enterprises... Through these meetings, they listened to the enterprises' sharing and directed departments to remove difficulties, support and create favorable conditions for FDI enterprises to promote production and business.
