In March 2025, Viglacera Yen My Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company is conducting a consultation to assess the environmental impact (EIA) of the Doc Da Trang Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Project.
The Prime Minister has approved the investment policy for this project in 2024, with a total investment of more than VND 1,807 billion with an area of 288 hectares, including 242 hectares in Van Hung commune, Van Ninh district and 46 hectares in Ninh Tho commune, Ninh Hoa town.
The Doc Da Trang Industrial Park project not only opens up opportunities to promote economic development and attract investment in Van Phong Economic Zone but also poses great challenges to the environment and society.
According to the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Doc Da Trang Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment, Construction and Business Project is expected to take place in early April 2025.
This is one of the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Liberation Day (2-4-1975 - 2-4-2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (30-4-1975 - 30-4-2025).
