Responding to voters at the 21st session of the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Council on the afternoon of December 9, Vice Chairman of the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang said that this Industrial Cluster is still calling for investment and hopes voters will understand.
Previously, voters of Phong Thanh Tay B commune (Phuoc Long district, Bac Lieu province) reported that many people with land in the above-mentioned Industrial Cluster could not do anything. They could not produce, were not granted land use right certificates, change the purpose, or transfer land use right because it was located in the planning area.
Responding to voters, Vice Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang informed that Chu Chi Industrial Park was planned in detail at a scale of 1/500 since 2015. In 2022, an investor applied to build technical infrastructure. However, after 2 evaluations, the enterprise did not meet the investor's criteria according to regulations, and the enterprise officially requested to stop investing in the construction of infrastructure for this Industrial Park.
Currently, Phuoc Long District People's Committee is coordinating with provincial departments and branches to mobilize central capital for investment and construction. The province also continues to call for investment as soon as possible, hoping for voters' understanding.

In fact, according to documents from Lao Dong reporters, in 2010, the Chu Chi Industrial Park was approved by the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee for a detailed construction plan at a scale of 1/500 in Decision No. 3758/QD-UBND dated December 29, 2010 with an area of 30 hectares.
