On May 15, Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi chaired a meeting on the disbursement of projects invested by the Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board (QLDA).
As of May 14, 2025, the Dak Nong Provincial Project Management Board has disbursed nearly 152 billion VND out of a total of 1,829 billion VND of the capital plan for 2025, reaching 8.3%.
According to information from the Project Management Board, the biggest problem in disbursing public investment capital is still site clearance (GPMB).
The time to carry out procedures for granting land exploitation and completing the conditions for the mine for exploitation takes a lot of time, leading to slow progress of the project.
Some contractors are also slow in mobilizing labor, materials and equipment, not meeting the committed plan.
The Provincial General Hospital Upgrade Project was allocated 270 billion VND in 2025, but to date, only nearly 19 billion VND has been disbursed, reaching 6.7% of the plan.
Director of the Project Management Board - Mr. Ha Sy Son - informed that, according to the contractor's commitment, in the next 4 months, 109 billion VND will be disbursed. However, the actual acceptance at the site showed that the project only disbursed 73 billion VND, 36 billion VND behind schedule.
Mr. Son also proposed to extend the project completion schedule from August 2025 to December 31, 2025.
Mr. Le Bao Anh - General Director of Construction Company No. 1 - Joint Stock Company contractor of the Provincial General Hospital Upgrade Project - accepted responsibility for the progress but also mentioned the difficulties in importing equipment globally.
By July 15, 2025, all equipment and machinery will return to the scene. At that time, we will speed up the construction, Mr. Bao Anh pledged.

Mr. Ho Van Muoi emphasized that the biggest problem at present is site clearance. If the site clearance is not resolved before July 1, 2025, construction will face difficulties and complications.
Mr. Muoi requested that units quickly clear land at projects with problems, and emphasized the importance of consensus from the people in this process.
The Standing Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee - Mr. Le Trong Yen - emphasized that by June 30, 2025, projects under the authority of the district must complete site clearance.
He requested localities and investors to monitor and take responsibility to effectively implement this work. "To speed up progress, it is necessary to change methods and coordination methods. Compensation for crops and facilities for people is very important, said Mr. Yen.
Concluding the meeting, Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized that there is not much time left and required everyone to work seriously.
"We have to work day and night. Contractors need to work overtime and increase shifts to speed up the progress, said Mr. Muoi.
The Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee also requested that the quality of the project should be given top priority, and that progress cannot be done at a minimum.
