Dak Nong - By the end of March 2025, total local budget revenue reached VND 1,021 billion, up 29% over the same period in 2024.

According to the Dak Nong Department of Finance, in the first quarter of 2025, many sectors recorded high revenue sources, contributing positively to the provincial budget.

Notably, the import-export sector, with revenue of 32 billion VND, reached 32% of local estimates and increased by 97% over the same period last year.

The main revenue comes from alumina export tax, value added tax on imported machinery and equipment serving Dak Nong aluminum electrolysis plant.

In addition, revenue from resource and environmental tax is also high. In particular, the resource tax and late payment fees of Dak Nong aluminum Company transferred from 2024 have reached 379 billion VND.

In addition, many additional revenues from the budget have also increased, such as contractor tax from wind power projects, reaching VND3.8 billion.

According to statistics, by the end of March 2025, total budget revenue in Dak Nong reached 1,021 billion VND. This budget revenue is equivalent to 36% of the central budget estimate and nearly 30% of local budget estimates, up 29% over the same period in 2024.

This result was achieved thanks to the strong direction from the beginning of the year of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee. Dak Nong has assigned specific targets to departments, branches and localities, and clearly defined the responsibilities of leaders.

Thanks to that, many difficulties and obstacles were resolved promptly, creating conditions to promote economic growth and budget collection.
