Dien Bien supports nearly 23 billion VND for people affected by African swine fever

Dien Bien - The Provincial People's Committee has just supplemented funding for communes and wards to overcome the consequences of damage caused by African swine fever.

According to Decision No. 204 of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee, supplementing 22.881 billion VND for communes and wards to implement damage remediation caused by African swine fever in 2025.

38/45 communes and wards benefited from support funds. Among them, many localities were allocated large funds due to heavy damage, including: Thanh Nua commune 2.582 billion VND; Muong Lay and Muong Nhe communes 1.838 billion VND; Thanh Yen commune 1.782 billion VND; Thanh An commune 1.665 billion VND; Cha To commune 1.599 billion VND.

The support level is applied based on the time of outbreak. Specifically, the period from the beginning of 2025 to July 24, 2025 supports 38,000 VND/kg of steam; the period from July 25 to December 22, 2025 support level is 40,000 VND/kg of steam.

Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible for allocating, managing, and using the supplemented funds to ensure compliance with regulations and beneficiaries.
