Over the past 25 years, CIC has experienced many memorable milestones, along with the journey of continuous growth and development of the CIC Youth Union. Successive generations of Union members have actively promoted the tradition of CIC since its early days.
Throughout that journey, it can be said that 2017 was a turning point year, marking the growth of the Youth Union at CIC. According to Decision No. 03/QD-ĐTN dated February 3, 2017 of the Executive Committee (EC) of the Youth Union of the Central Bank (CB), the CIC Youth Union was upgraded to a grassroots Youth Union with the name Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the National Credit Information Center of Vietnam. At that time, the CIC Youth Union had 3 affiliated Youth Unions.
By December 2019, the CIC Youth Union restructured the grassroots Youth Union organization by separating and renaming branches and establishing new branches to ensure consistency between the grassroots Youth Union organization and the grassroots Party organization at the same level and to facilitate professional work between departments/offices. Since then, the CIC Youth Union has had 5 affiliated branches, including 4 branches at the Headquarters and 1 branch at the Ho Chi Minh City Branch.
With the attention and close direction of leaders at all levels, along with close coordination with organizations and unions in the unit, the CIC Youth Union Executive Committee of all periods has always maintained the spirit of solidarity, construction and created new highlights in the direction and implementation of Union activities and youth movements. Along with that is the spirit of enthusiasm, creativity, ambition, desire to contribute and strive for the best of all CIC youth union members. It can be affirmed that the Union and Youth Movement work of the CIC Youth Union has made an important contribution to the excellent completion of CIC's tasks in the past time.
The CIC Youth Union focuses on implementing political and ideological education and traditional education to raise awareness and foster the confidence of youth union members in the Party, the socialist regime, and the country's innovation cause, promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle, and contribute to orienting and preventing manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" among youth union members.
Identifying professional tasks as the most important political task, the CIC Youth Union always focuses on propaganda work to raise awareness among young people about the Industry's traditions, thereby helping young people love the industry, love their jobs and be more responsible for their work. With a pioneering and creative spirit, 100% of the youth union members register to complete their assigned tasks every year, actively participate in scientific research, have initiatives to improve business processes such as: participating in researching automation processes in collecting and providing credit information to credit institutions (CIs), improving increasingly diverse CIC products, serving the maximum interests of information exploiters, serving the macro management of the industry and preventing risks for CIs.
The organization of revolutionary action movements: the "Youth Volunteer" movement, the "Creative Youth" movement, the "Youth Volunteers to Protect the Fatherland" movement is increasingly diverse and rich, attracting the participation of a large number of youth union members. Some activities are organized practically, meaningfully, annually, and have a wide influence not only at CIC but also at the Departments and Bureaus of the State Bank, such as the "Spring for Children" program every Lunar New Year, the "Journey of Gratitude - Volunteer Journey" program every summer.
In addition, the CIC Youth Union also organizes and participates in cultural and artistic programs, sports movements, actively participates in activities organized by the higher-level Youth Union, and also does a good job of taking care of teenagers and children.
The CIC Leadership Board pays great attention to Party development work. Through the movements, the CIC Youth Union has discovered, trained and introduced many outstanding and outstanding members who meet the criteria to be admitted to the Party, supplementing the Party with a young force that is both "red and professional".
With continuous efforts to effectively and creatively carry out tasks, work of the Union and youth movements, the CIC Youth Union is truly a core force, recognized and highly appreciated by the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of CIC, one of the exemplary and active units of the Central Bank Youth Union, and for many consecutive years has been honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Central Youth Union, Certificates of Merit from the Central Agencies Youth Union, Certificates of Merit from the Central Bank Youth Union for the collective and many exemplary union cadres and union members.
The 25-year journey of establishment and development of CIC has always had the mark and contribution of the young generation through each period. With youthful strength, enthusiasm and dedication, the CIC Youth Union is increasingly demonstrating its leading role in all activities, taking the lead on all fronts. We are completely confident that CIC members will be increasingly creative, always full of dreams, contributing their youth to the development of CIC. And above all, the members will always maintain the spirit of youth, bright heart, clear mind, great ambition, as President Ho Chi Minh once advised: "Where there is a need, there is youth, where there is difficulty, there is youth".
