Enterprises solve employment, promote development
According to the report of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province, by the end of 2025, the whole province of Ha Tinh will have about 10,850 enterprises along with more than 1,000 cooperatives. The scale of this productive force shows that the business sector is growing positively, becoming an important pillar of the local economy.
According to the Ha Tinh Provincial Business Association, in recent times, the business community of Ha Tinh province has had remarkable development in terms of quantity, scale and field of operation; strongly shifted in the structure of industries; became a core force, making an important contribution to the province's development targets. In particular, businesses have created jobs for tens of thousands of workers, contributing to stimulating domestic consumption and accompanying services.
In the 2023 - 2025 period, Ha Tinh faces many challenges: global market fluctuations, international conflicts, supply chain disruptions, natural disasters that severely affect production. However, overcoming difficulties, businesses in the province are still trying to maintain operations, expand investment and ensure jobs for workers.
In 2025, Ha Tinh will make a strong impression when GRDP growth reaches 8.78%, ranking first in the North Central region, ranking 10th out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide. The driving force for this growth rate comes from the industrial - construction sector with an increase of 12.73%, typically the energy production, fiber production, battery - Cellpin production, mining and automobile manufacturing sectors in Vung Ang Economic Zone. The maintenance of large projects and many new projects have created tens of thousands of direct and indirect jobs.
The average income of workers in enterprises in the province continues to improve: FDI enterprises 10.3 million VND/month, state-owned enterprises 9 million VND/month, 100% state-owned enterprises 8.52 million VND/month, private enterprises 7 million VND/month.
This figure shows the efforts of enterprises in ensuring the lives of workers. Not only creating an important source of budget revenue, Ha Tinh enterprises are also a pioneer in technology transformation, expanding investment and participating in social security programs.
A huge contribution of the workforce
By the end of 2025, the whole province of Ha Tinh will have 23,800 workers working at enterprises and cooperatives. Of which, Vung Ang Economic Zone alone has about 21,500 people (over 20,300 Vietnamese workers and over 1,200 foreign workers). The increasing rate of trained workers (reaching 80.2%, an increase of 3% compared to 2024) reflects the strong shift from simple labor to technical laborers with skills and access to technology.
Ha Tinh's labor force has very clear characteristics: diligent, hard-working, intelligent, hardworking and especially has a high sense of discipline, is quick to approach new techniques and adapt to modern production lines. These qualities have helped Ha Tinh workers quickly meet the strict requirements of energy factories, manufacturing materials, mechanics, batteries - Cellpin, textiles, steel and the rapidly developing service - commercial sectors.
The expansion of industrial parks and industrial clusters, along with the growth of enterprises in the area, has created many new job opportunities, contributing to gradually reducing the situation of Ha Tinh workers returning to their hometowns to find jobs in the southern provinces or abroad. More and more workers choose to stay in their hometown, enjoy benefits of income, social security, being close to their families and stabilizing their lives.
Along with that, the role of the Trade Union organization is increasingly promoted, creating a harmonious, stable and progressive working environment. The trade union participates in negotiation, dialogue, rights care, and supervision of regime implementation, thereby helping workers feel secure in sticking with and contributing long-term to the enterprise.
Thanks to the joint efforts and consensus of the labor force and the support of the Trade Union organization, Ha Tinh has strong internal strength to develop the socio-economy, confidently making a breakthrough in the following stages.
