Located along National Highway 1A, many warehouses and workshops in Duy Xuyen commune (Da Nang city) on the morning of November 2 were bustling with the sound of people cleaning up after the flood, determined to soon stabilize production and business activities.

According to a representative of a warehouse management unit in Duy Xuyen commune, immediately after the floodwaters receded, since this morning, all employees of the warehouse have been present to clean up and inventory goods.
During the recent flood, rising floodwaters, flooding into the warehouse, caused many low-grade packages to be soaked.

"We are trying to classify and dry each batch of goods that is wet due to flood water, the estimated damage is not small" - said Mr. Nguyen Van Long (name changed, warehouse employee in Duy Xuyen commune).

According to Mr. Long, many other warehouses and workshops in the area this morning are also busy cleaning and opening ventilation doors to dry out water on the house foundation.
Many units had to temporarily suspend operations for a few days to clean up and disinfect, ensuring that goods were not moldy after the flood.
Not only warehouses and production workshops, but also on the morning of November 2, many businesses on Hung Vuong Street (Duy Xuyen Commune, Da Nang City) were busy cleaning up and scraping young mud after the flood.
Many business households have proactively sprayed disinfectants and cleaned up, hoping to quickly stabilize their lives after the days of rising flood waters.

On November 2, the Da Nang City Civil Defense Command said that the particularly heavy flood that lasted from October 25 to October 31 caused serious damage in the area, initially estimated at more than 837 billion VND.
In order to promptly support people to overcome the damage caused by heavy rain and floods, the People's Committee of Da Nang City has issued Official Letter No. 3370/UBND-PTDS on focusing on overcoming the damage caused by heavy rain and floods and responding to weather trends from now until the end of 2025.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City requested departments, branches, sectors, communes, wards, and related agencies and units not to be negligent or subjective, with the most urgent and decisive spirit, proactively prevent and respond at the highest level, ensure safety of life, and limit damage to people's property.
