The Lite-On Quang Ninh Factory Project is invested by Lite-on Technology Group (Taiwan, China) - one of the 10 largest corporations in the world specializing in the production of electronic components for computers, phones, etc.
The project is invested in construction on an area of 30 hectares of land, with a total investment of 690 million USD, specializing in the production of electronic components, optical equipment and tools, lighting equipment, communication equipment, etc. The project has a scale of 2 factories, 1 office building.
The Lite-On Quang Ninh Factory project has a total capacity of nearly 124 million products/year. Phase 1 is expected to be completed in November 2025. The completion and early operation will bring great benefits to investors, actively contributing to improving the value of industrial production and the value of goods exports of the province, creating more jobs and income for local workers, increasing revenue for the state budget, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province. At the same time, it also continues to affirm the consistent policy of Quang Ninh province in efforts to reform administrative procedures, the investment and business environment, attracting high-tech projects, smart industry, environmentally friendly, promoting sustainable growth of processing and manufacturing industry.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Cao Tuong Huy - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province - highly appreciated the choice of Lite-on Technology Group when deciding to invest in a factory in Song Khoai Industrial Park, in the Quang Yen Coastal Economic Zone. This is a core area, a new growth driver for the Western route and the province, identified as developing according to the "smart city" model with smart, modern industrial - service - urban - seaport areas, processing, manufacturing and high-tech industrial centers.
To complete and put the project into operation, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tuong Huy requested investors to focus resources to implement the project to ensure quality and progress as committed; closely coordinate with the province's competent authorities to comply with the provisions of law on planning, land, investment, construction, environmental protection and relevant legal provisions.
The Quang Ninh Economic Zone Management Board and the People's Committee of Quang Yen town continue to pay attention and create the most favorable conditions for investors to speed up construction progress, strive to complete projects ahead of schedule; regularly monitor, inspect, and promptly support investors to resolve problems arising during project implementation.
