On March 5, Mr. Doan Huu Dung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Pleiku City said that the headquarters of the People's Council and People's Committee is a key and important project of the city that is in the completion stage.
However, after the policy of abolishing the intermediate administrative level (district level), based on the directive document of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, the city government has temporarily suspended bidding and equipment procurement for the headquarters.
According to Mr. Dung, this is in line with the actual situation, in order to avoid the risk of waste and depending on the needs of use later when the project comes into operation.
