On May 24, the Gia Lai Provincial Economic Zone Management Board said that many industrial clusters are being formed in the area, creating infrastructure and land funds to attract businesses to invest.
In addition, the Economic Zone Management Board is also reviewing land funds in industrial zones and clusters; and at the same time urging businesses to implement investment projects and use land effectively.
For cases where investors use land unreasonably and are behind schedule, functional agencies will consider recovering and handling according to legal regulations.
At the end of May 2026, in Dak Doa commune (Gia Lai province), Shinec Gia Lai Joint Stock Company held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Dak Doa Industrial Cluster No. 2 technical infrastructure construction and business project.
After completing the necessary conditions and procedures, the enterprise officially deployed the project with a scale of nearly 75ha, with a total investment of 435.8 billion VND.
The industrial cluster is located on National Highway 19, connecting the Central Highlands with the Central coast, convenient for connecting seaports, airports and international border gates, contributing to logistics development and expanding the inter-regional supply chain.

However, not far from Dak Doa Industrial Cluster No. 2 is the Mang Yang Industrial Cluster project invested by Sao Mai Gia Lai Industrial Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company, which is currently being implemented slowly.
According to assessments, the investor has not ensured the progress of site clearance; has not coordinated well with Mang Yang Commune People's Committee in the work of preparing compensation dossiers and supporting site clearance; has not advanced funds for the locality to carry out compensation work; and is also lacking personnel, especially key leaders, to directly operate on the ground.
The provincial government requests the investor, if continuing to implement the project, to soon work with departments and functional agencies to remove obstacles and accelerate the implementation progress.
According to the integrated industrial cluster development plan in the Provincial Plan for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050, Gia Lai has 99 industrial clusters with a total area of more than 5,412 ha.
In the first quarter of 2026 alone, the province decided to establish 8 more industrial clusters with an area of 586 ha and expand 2 industrial clusters with an area of 56.5 ha.
