Mr. Ngo Huu Luan (Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi) shared that he had been to the gold shop on Tran Nhan Tong street, Hanoi many times but could only buy 3 taels of gold rings after many days of waiting.
"I need to buy 5 taels as a wedding gift. This morning I went to the store again, the staff informed me that they didn't know when it would reopen because they were out of gold rings. I had to go home and try again another day" - Mr. Luan said.
Similarly, Mr. Pham Hong Thai (Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi) also left the gold shop on Tran Nhan Tong street without having time to make a transaction.
"As soon as I arrived, the staff here announced that they were not selling plain round gold rings. The previous times, I waited a long time but still couldn't buy anything, so I decided to leave," said Mr. Thai.
An employee at a gold shop on Tran Nhan Tong Street (Hanoi) said: "Currently, the shop is out of plain round gold rings, so we cannot announce the exact opening time to customers."

As of 10:40 a.m. on January 7, the price of SJC gold bars listed by DOJI Group was at VND83.5 - 85 million/tael (buy - sell); down VND500,000/tael for both buying and selling.
The difference between buying and selling price of SJC gold at Saigon Jewelry Company is at 1.5 million VND/tael.
Meanwhile, Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of SJC gold at 83.7 - 85 million VND/tael (buy - sell); down 300,000 VND/tael for buying and down 500,000 VND/tael for both selling.
The difference between buying and selling price of SJC gold at Saigon Jewelry Company is at 1.3 million VND/tael.
At the same time, the price of 9999 Hung Thinh Vuong round gold ring at DOJI was listed at 84 - 85 million VND/tael (buy - sell); down 650,000 VND/tael for buying and down 600,000 VND/tael for selling compared to early this morning.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of plain round gold rings at 84.4 - 85.6 million VND/tael (buy - sell), down 200,000 VND/tael for buying and down 200,000 VND/tael for selling compared to early this morning.
The world gold price listed on Kitco at 10:51 on January 7 (Vietnam time) is at 2,638.92 USD/ounce.
