World oil price today
World oil prices today decreased simultaneously. At 10:31, WTI crude oil was at 63.29 USD/barrel, down 0.38 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.60%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 63.67 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 63.63 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 66.27 USD/barrel, down 0.36 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.54%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 66.63 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 66.43 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices are fluctuating quite strongly. After a slight decrease in yesterday morning's session (September 13), both oil products reversed and increased sharply. At the end of the trading session on May 13, Brent and WTI oil prices increased by 2.57% and 2.78%, respectively.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On May 14, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities are applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil has been adjusted according to the price of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade jointly announced in the price management session on the afternoon of May 8, 2025. Accordingly, gasoline products have decreased in price. E5 RON 92 gasoline price decreased by 377 VND/liter, RON 95-III gasoline decreased by 407 VND/liter, diesel decreased by 550 VND/liter, kerosene decreased by 623 VND/liter and mazut decreased by 665 VND/kg.

Tu Luc Petroleum: Diesel discount 0.05S-II: 600 VND/liter; Diesel 0.001S-V: 550 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 600; E5 gasoline: 550 VND/liter.
MIPEC Petroleum: RON 95 - III Petroleum Discount: 600 VND/liter; E5 Petroleum: 500 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S-II: 700 VND/liter. Applicable to the Northern region.
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may increase.
In particular, RON 95 gasoline price is forecast to increase by about 380 VND/liter; E5 gasoline may increase by about 370 VND/liter; Diesel oil increases by about 350 VND/liter
