World oil price today
At the end of a trading week, WTI crude oil was at 68.45 USD/barrel last weekend, down to 67.34 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, WTI crude oil decreased by 1.11 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.6% compared to last week.
Brent oil was at 70.36 USD/barrel last weekend, down to 69.28 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, Brent oil decreased by 1.08 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.5% compared to last week.
World oil prices have turned down slightly last week, after two consecutive weeks of price increases. According to analysts, the decline was mainly due to concerns about supply disruption when the European Union (EU) announced a new package of sanctions against Russia - one of the world's major oil exporters.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On July 20, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil has been adjusted according to the price of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade since 3:00 p.m. on July 17.
Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline price decreased by 178 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline decreased by 165 VND/liter; diesel price decreased by 38 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 58 VND/liter; mazut price decreased by 85 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price management period, retail prices of gasoline may have opposite adjustments in the direction of decreasing gasoline prices and slightly increasing oil prices.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 100 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 90 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 30 VND/liter.
